...Bush didn´t spy on terrorist...he spied on his political enemies at home...even members of his own party realize that and are pissed. He could have spied on terrorists any time he wanted to...didn´t have to wait for a warrant...he could have done it, then goten the warrant AFTER, FISA is set up that way, to avoid red tape in emergencies,,,but you´d have to PROVE your case afater...you´d have to show WHY you needed to rush to spy on someone, you´d have to come clean, give names etc...and if it were legitiamte, you wouldn´t have to worry...what Bush is really doing is spying on Congress and anyone he perceives as a polticial enemy..that´s way he wants NO warrants and NO need to give cause. All presidents try to get away with National Security....but it usually doesn´t work and since Nixon we´ve learned to mistrust such claims...that´s why this Terror bullshit and America´s CONSTANT war everywhere in the world is so important to neo conjobs...it gives them an ENDLESS pretext to rewrite our laws...to go round the Constitution for the Constitution is THE enemy of American neo'conjobs. --------------------- |
