"WOW! A constitution is being drafted right now that will likely see us guests at the hands of our butchers, the (t)urds, scrabbling for any handout, at their mercy and discretion, while our scholars sit here and argue about whether Mar Shimoun was a good cat, or bad."

They are stuck on Mar Shummon because they can only regugitate the past, not understand our present or our future.

They did, but they have to always blame it on someone else. That way they don't take responsibility for themselves.

They don't have the guts to fight anyone else, so they fight each other.

"On the other hand, us geniuses sit here scrapping away like schoolkids and, guess what!, I still don't see any mention of the pending extinction of the human equivalent of the Dodo, the Assyrian-whatever fits you best (Chaldean, Nestorian, Syriani, etc.), in the Iraqi constitution."

They will get an honorable mention but you can forget about anything else. The Assyrian heroes and scholars made sure of that.
