I was just reading Zinda and I had a "spark"...an epiphany of sorts. There were at least 3-4 articles about an Assyrian "homeland"...I wonder... are these people taking themselves seriously, or is there some sort of delusional psychological or sociological problem that affects Assyrians only?

I have never heard such ridiculousness in all of my life. How sad and alarming.

Chaldeans never demanded a homeland/enclave in Iraq. They integrated...which is what minorities do who want to remain in existence. I guess I just never realized it before... all of these demands for autonomy and this and that... it's just insanity.
