The size is approximately 30 inches on the wingspan...that's wingtip to wingtip...the height is just a tad less...about 26 inches...that's to the top of the aura..or halo. The sculptor in me wanted to make it bigger...but it gets too big to comfortably place in ones home or office...so it's a perfect size..I think. I don't like making it smaller. ...the piece is a natural monument...monuments shouldn't just be BIG sculptures...a sculpture can be monumental and be small...for me it's determined by what the sculpture conveys and of course how it does it. The Allaha-Ashur's stance plus its meaning MAKES it a monument...but how sweet it would be to one day make it into an actual monument and put it where the Shumirum was SUPPOSED to go...right there in Chicago next to the Oriental Institute...you never know. Oh yes...the price: $7000 with no apologies or explanations from me. The weight is uncertain yet...I'd say no more than 4o pounds. --------------------- |
