They are splintered among religious sects each as jealous and as pissed at the other as they were 1500 years ago...plus which they don't REALLY believe they are Assyrian...not in nay meaningful sense...or any sense at all, except as a badge of false pride they use to maintain a special status they DEMAND the wurld recognize....and the stupider they are the more "Assyrian" they are...and stupid people can't make phone calls...so no telethon.
