If the policy of the Arab Moslem governments and religious leaders in the past has been to protect the non-Moslem, non-Arab, Syriac-speaking Christians of the Middle East, they would not have looked for a savior from the West.....

...how dingbats do you have to be to think of Bush as your savior? Remember Fred...the majority of Christians in Iraq had no difficulty living and thriving there...not until this savior of yours went over to save them...that's when their troubles REALLY began.
