Aziza Ashur, 2-You MUST stop believing in fairy tales. Do you honestly believe that ALL of the Mid East Christians were wiped out by one, or two, or three men, and their "words"? PLEASE, don't insult our intelligence! How did America become a "Christian" Nation? Was everyone that lived in America MADE christian? NO, NO, and NO! Christian people flocked from all over the world to America because they were attracted by a "Christian Nation". They didn't come here first and then were converted by force. The age of Enlightmentment DID NOT start in Europe. It started in the Middle East, and spread to Europe. Islam attracted millions of people to convert to Islam because they associated Islam with the Age of Enlightment. People of the Middle East realized that this particular religion paved the way for a glorious civilization. They became part of it, NATURALLY. The few fairy tales you read about here and there DO NOT account for most of the conversions, which is staggering. How did Malcom X and Muhammad Ali Clay, and Michael Jackson and all the Black Muslims become Muslims? By force? NO! By being attracted to it NATURALLy as it compliments their own beliefs and experiences. This is how society works. There is no magic formula to this. People choose a religion based on their needs. Middle Eastern men became attracted to Islam because it is based on Patriarchy, where a man is king, and he can marry more than one woman. If a Muslim man can marry up to 4 wives, and have approximately 40 children, whereas a Christian man can only marry one woman and at the most have 10 children by her, the Muslim man will be more fruitful and multiply at an exponentially greater speed. That's how the Middle East became majority Muslim. 2-Western Imperialism began with ROME. That's how far it goes back. People do not realize that Rome was the first Western Imperialist nation. The Roman empire was huge precisely because it practiced imperialism. --------------------- |
