I remember Pancho mentioning that he wrote of his Assyrian identity during a letter to a cousin when he was in Boston.

I have seen his artwork in Bashari, Lebanon and this particular piece I think was a sign of the influences of his identity and religion.

Besides Assyrian the drawing also shows Egyptian influence.
