They now own the newspapers and are buying up publishing houses so they can rewrite history...like the new new internet definition of "Hero" as a "soldier in an unpopular war"...does that give you a hint of things to come? Soon a "Humanitarian" will be redefined as one who "Puts Muslim children out of their misery". We already have a new definition of Christian. ..there are people who need to make lots of money..they may start out honestly enough...maybe build a lumber mill for the town`s needs...but they need to make more and soon all the houses have been built and the forest is gone..now what? Follow that out for a couple of hundred years and you have corporations that are no longer family owned, straining to make a buck any way they can...since they also carry more clout with politicians, because we allow it....it wouldn`t take long before they can have their way with us, our bodies, children, air, water and money...even to the point of starting wars or allowing health problems to escalte into near diasters..why not? Why should they stop? > >e.g. >1. The Military-Petroleum-Complex sets out energy and foreign policy by encouraging consumption, non-renewables as well as not adhering to the Kyoto Protocol and subsequently amplifying the Green House affect. The Medical-Industrial-Complex sets out Health policy and ensures that the US doesn't have universal health care the norm in most Western countries. --------------------- |
