REAL Democracy, like REAL Communism, the world has never seen.

Both systems have never existed, and will likely never exist.

Modern-day democracy contains MANY Marxist elements, and modern day Communism contains MANY Capitalist elements... so the question is... what is the best form of government?

I think it is that which makes the populace most happy and nurtures humanity. Currently, people in the US may be happy, but they are on drugs, and empty inside. I think the European or Mexican models work best. Government control of certain industries and heavy regulation of the fat cats.

The rich will never allow a truly fair economic system because they make their money off of the masses, not off of other wealthy folks.

... I vote for Socialism... however Socialism is a broad range or grey space between two theoretical extremes which have never truly existed. So my vote is a vague one.

The closest we have ever seen to true Capitalism was the roaring 20's, where the uber rich built palaces in the US... which, come to think of it, we may be returning to as the gap between uber rich and working poor grows each year...

What we are seeing in today's Imperialistic age is the merchant class run amok by effectively hijacking the US government to further its profits and to initiate continuous war.
