pancho wrote: >..I notice when you are asked certain direct questions, you tend to evade by firing back three more" I have answered every question as honestly as I can. What do you want, blood? I can only answer direct questions pertaining to ME, and what I know. The rest are none of my business, as I can't speak for anyone else when I don't know the facts, can YOU? "...let me ask you simply for your opinion: do you believe Saddam sent agents to kill Dadeeshoo?" When I came to Stanislaus county it was 10 years AFTER the incident had taken place. The impact wasn't there for me, and every Assyrian in this county likes to tell their own version. The Dadesho haters are former Bet-Nahrain members, who couldn't bring Sargon Dadesho down in spite of their best efforts, so they lie and spread false rumors, but check them out sometimes, they all look like murders and skin heads, so it's hard for me to take them seriously. Their lying and deceiptfullness is natural for people who hate him because they couldn't get the best of him. The other side are the Sargon Dadesho friends and members or affiliates of Bet-Nahrain from all over the world, and even former Zowaa members/supporters who view him as a patriot, a nationalist, a hero of Assyria, so naturally they will tell a different version of Sargon Dadesho, because they believe in him. In your honest opinion, which one would you ike me to believe? Seeing how Assyrians, even educated ones, never present FACTS, and are simply busy bodies and gossip mongers, I don't listen to any of them, because I know Assyrians ALL TOO WELL. I've had 40 years of training. Besides, Assyrian rumors and gossip are endless, and there isn't enough time in one life-time to devote to their wagging tongues. I'm simply not interested, unless it can change my life for the better. Now if you profess to have all the facts, Faird, please present them to me, so I can study them and then I will give you my honest opinion. Until then, you have NOTHING but rumors and inuendos, just like the rest of them! "Don`t tell me what the courts of the land said...or the State Department...tell me what YOU think." I just told you what I think, but obviously you will never be satisfied with this. You like juicy stuff, and I'm sorry to disappoint you. YOu would like me to give an opinion based on Assyrian half-baked stories, biased rumors, etc. and I can't in all honesty because I don't know what the truth is. Now let me ask you this: You don't believe Saddam's stooge, Yonadam Kanna, who has publicly been named in Iraq as a Baathy agent/informer, and whom former Zowaa big whigs have fingered as an informer to Saddam, and they claim was the one responsible for the betrayal of the former Zowaa leadership, Yousip and Youbert, and the cause of their execution, would he NOT have been capable of informing on someone like Sargon Dadesho, his mortal enemy? It's not that far-fetched to me. That's my opinion in a nut shell! If Yonadam Kanna delivered Yousip and Youbert, the original founders of Zowaa, to Saddam, in exchange for a leadership position of the Assyrian Democratic party, and to gain favor with Saddam, he is capable of doing anything! Was that good enough of an opinion for you, Farid? > >.."think before you answer...I`ll admit there are several traps waiting for you...so at least give it your best shot and be prepared to defend as vigorously as you expect others to." Farid, you couldn't trap if you tried! What others defend is not worthy of my time. It's based on old grudges and deeply-rooted hatred, kind of like clansmen fighting against one another to see who will be the first to wipe out as many Assyrians as possible off the face of the earth. It is an interesting case study though, your obsession with Sargon Dadesho, that is. I would like very much to know what he has done to you, if you wouldn't mind sharing it with us. --------------------- |
