...Durant says that Caesar prepared the way for Christ...that the depredations of the Roman Empire plus the fact that you could never get away from the strong arm of Roman Law made people ultimately despair of a life on earth free from the control of such an efficient beast....this made people prone to think in terms of another life and place altogether where Rome`s long arm might not reach...enter HEAVEN.

This fellow seems to be suffering a similar meltdown...it won`t last long. If you chose where you want to be because you HATE where you presently are....you`ll take it with you...it may not seem apparent but the long lasting damage has been done.

Humans can`t exist in a Utopia...it`s a dead place.
