PS: Nineb dear, the reason it concerns me has nothing to do with faith. It has to do with the strategy of being against our friends and for our enemies.

In other words, Israel by the virtue of the fact that it is the only other non-moslem nation in the Middle East is fighting for our cause too, ie., the right of non-moslems with a historic claim to the middle east to be able to live under their own administration in the region.

This is precisely what our goal is in seeking temporarily an Assyrian Province in Iraq and ultimately an independent state. To support Hezzbolah whose stated aim is the elimination of the state of Israel and all non-moslems from the middle east is a strategic mistake for us.

Their stated goal is to drive us out of the middle east. How can we logically support them?

That is all.

If Israel fails, so does our whole rationale for Assyria. If Israel succeeds, it paves the way for our rightful demand that we have a homeland in our historic area.

It is critical that two nations with a shared destiny support each other and I do not understand the rationale or logic behind the anti-Israel, pro-Hezzbolah stance revealed in not one mention in any message of even one of the terrible things Hezzbolah has done.

I hope that makes sense. The success of Israel is a keystone to our rightful demands for an Assyrian province and ultimately a nation.

Thats my confusion.
