Discussing this with the wife and I got to thinking... Not every ape is capable of picking up a rock when the time comes. As far as the majority, they would eventually die and so would their offspring, not because they were incapable but they choose not to be capable. Everyone is given the chance and not everyone takes it. Our minds are evolving that is what is apparently changing the most. Aside from us experiencing physical changes as well. Like the fact that we require less teeth than our not-to-long-ago ancestors. If our minds are the forefront of the evolution, then does that mean feeble minds will eventually die out? Some people go through life and never really question the purpose or the validity of their rituals. They never dare question the authority. And like other apes who didn't pick up the rock, they will cease. --------------------- |
