Now to your point on millions of Muslim Assyrians I am quite happy to acknowledge that they are Assyrians if they awknowledge it.

But they dont so why are you so attached to proving that they are the true Assyrians who liked Islam more because it was more closly fitted to what they already beleived, when none of the world's Muslims beleive or accept this?

...they all accept that the Assyrian heritage is in their BACKGROUND...but they have 1400 years of additional history as Muslims Assyrians...much of it spent educating the world and spreading the lessons of BetNahrain to every corner where there is a wheel..while you all threw a hissy fit and stopped in your tracks...you Christians refused to participate in a Muslim empire, for the most part...you sat on your hindquarters in your villages and prayed to a Jew to come save you...Muslims have a LOT more to be proud of than JUST what happened in Nineveh...they don`t bore people to death with it because it is in their PAST..it is in your past too, if you ever were Assyrian, but you`re fixated on the past...you still look at a map and see "Assyria"...what can you expect from such a person?

...Nope, if I were a Jew or a Muslim or a Christian I`d own up to it...I`m Assyrian.

If you`ll notice the name of the god people follow is in their name...Judaism is Yhaweism...Mohammedanism is Islam...Buddhism is the religion of Buddha...CHRIST-ianity is the the religion of the followers of Christ...says so, right there in their name...I think you see where I`m going...Ashur-ism is the religion of the followers of Ashur...if you are CHRIST-ian and believe, as you must, in one god..then you can`t also be Muhammedan...or a Yahwist...that would involve TWO gods...likewise you can`t be CHRIST-ian and ASHUR-ian...do you follow?

Mr. "pancho" the notion of hubris certainly does apply to you!

...I don`t claim the maker of the universe sits up nights worrying about me..or talks to me...or has a warm spot by the fire waiting for me...I don`t presume to talk of things I know nothing about...but you, who know the streets and alleys of heaven...who says he was made by yahwe and will return to yahwe and that yahwe speaks to him and the rest of your tripe...you are humble?
