HEEEEEE, HEEEEEE, Farid, when I was an infant I contracted pneumonia, which they told my dad was incurable. My father took me to all sorts of fancy doctors in Baghdad and Beirut, some were English, others German, others famous Lebanese doctors, but they all said the same thing to him, "don't get attached to this child, because there is no cure for her."

In his desperation, my father took me to a quack, a primitive witch-doctor, who told him the only way to cure her is to give her dried crowe's blood, cod liver-oil, and hot milk, three times a day. DRIED CROWE'S BLOOD?
