>First, this sounds like a strong case of sour grapes. Since I am really shocked to find that this last election would be the first time that people within AANF used shady tactics to win elections.
>Second, even if shady tactics ruled election day, you bury the hatchet and set out for the work of the organization, for the benefit of the community. However bad it is, it's only one term, we'll get over it. We've had worse AANF presidents than Mr. Khamis.... You do NOT set up a snowball campaign to create a splinter federation of dissenting organizations! That would be very Sargon Dadesho of Ms. Golani and Mr. Alkhas.
I respectfully disagree. The AANF is corrupt beyond help. The leaders have embezzled money and completely disregarded the by-laws. In this country, that is against the law if you are a 501(c)3 and I hope they will be prosecuted by the IRS. The dissenting organizations in this particular situation are by-and-large the only ones worthwhile in the whole federation anyway.
I'd never compare Janey to Sargon Dadesho... that's just a low blow.
I guess our opinions differ so much because I sort of have the inside track on this whole situation and I know just how ass backwards Mr. Khamis has been. Look at the progress made when Atour was president, and look how it can all be undone by a typical tyrant leader of ours... just follow the money trails.
Sometimes IRS audits can be a good thing.
