Please explain to me why we couldn't say that Assyrians, Chaldeans, Syriacs, and of course Suryoye died in that Genocide.. ..it was NOT a Genocide...those acts were not the result of a government policy...the resettlement was....the attack on Simele was...but the random attacks against villages were more spontaneous, vigilante type things...even if officials particpated...the starvation of Iraqi children WAS Genocide because it was America's stated POLICY...loudly and publicly repeated many times. maybe Suryoye even died the most hun. What about my family members who died in the Genocide who were from Tur Abdin, who called themselves Suryoye? What about them? Even if they were ethnically Assyrian in origin, just like in ALqosh, I mean who can be more historically Assyrian then Alqoshniye, but it is not what they call themsleves now, so why not respect that? Ever read "Not Even My Name"? ...I lost family too...so did EVERYONE IN TURKEY!!! There was no justification for that war...any more than there is for this one...except for the SAME oil! The day Bloody Rosie weeps for the injustice visited on so many innocent Turkish families will be the day her "sadness" over her own losses will smell real. Till then it' s just more Blood Sport...the same one engaged in by Muslims who sought out excuses to seek "revenge" on Christians...it eith just stops...or continues forever...and no one wins and everyone loses. --------------------- |
