I don't believe that he deserved to die, but consider that we all make decisions every day which are financial in nature and which test our morality as well. If I was fluent in Arabic and they were offering $300,000 per year to go, I wouldn't go on principle... to translate for an occupying force, to collaborate with the Nazis, is unbelievably morally lacking.

I know so many people who don't like to talk about politics. They shy away from the conversation, or change the subject by saying "I'm not political" or "I don't like to talk politics". Well, guess what? Politics KILLS. Politics pollutes the environment, murders Iraqis, commits genocide. This guy had to consider... and he didn't. Of course, it's always sad to see a young life lost... but I'm just saying... when you are in cahoots with the military industrial complex, sometimes the "karma's gonna get you".
