...fascinating. It makes so much sense that the ancients would have thought the evergreen tree a miracle and a sign of life to come...a sort of promise...a reminder not to lose hope when everything else shrivelled and died. ..why haven't Christian combined their traditions and hung Christ from a Christmas tree?
