Iowa is not the same difference. Guiana is a country likely to gain independence within the next 15-20 years. If we can protect 100,000 Assyrians in Guiana they would make up the largest ethnic population and comprise 1/3 of Guiana's total population. This is way better than taking over some squat town in some American state.
