...that was then..."reporters" for major and minor newspapers worked for the government...it was routine, but not enough...after changing the laws concerning media ownership, to "increase competition" and "better serve our beloved citizens"...business has bought up and owns news outlets..now the entire organization works for the government..which works for business...no longer does a real estate developer "buy" a statesman...he skips that stage now and becomes the politician himself...even paying out of his own pocket for his "campaign". I`m reminded again of the weird definition of "Hero" available on the new, streamlined, intenet, where the government knows children get "educated"...the internet definition includes..."soldier in an unpopular war". Obviously, someone is looking to the future. --------------------- |
