...The United States is becomming Sparta...it was a little close to Athens once...and we all know what happned to Sparta. ...who is the United States to talk about assassinations...who has assassinated leaders and minor officials and anyone they didn't like MORE than United States? except maybe Nazi germany and the Soviet Union. If Syria and the Muslim world would be smart, they would adamantly refuse to agree to anything put forth by the United Nations...the same body that tore apart Palestine...which is now more than ever in the hip pocket of Uncle Sam. This is a ploy to shore up Bush's sagging numbers..so people can see him "firm" and resolved to protect them some more...this nation is BROKE...its young men and women do NOT want to "defend" it...not in Syria, not in Iraq and not anywhere else the CEOs tell them there is a threatto their profit margins...otherwise they'd be signing up to serve...and if they bring back the draft they'll have a faster rebellion at home to deal with...Syria should tell the UN to get fucked...because that's what the UN is going to do to them anyway.... --------------------- |
