corporations aren´t in business for the love of it...they are there for the profit and the profit is a small percentage of their overall income..there fore to be effective a boycot doesn´t have to wipe out a company´s entire income...ind eed that isn´t what you want...all a boycott has to do is hit that small percentage that represents the profit...maybe five percent at most. Segregation in America and Apartheid in South Africa, two insitutions you´d have thought could have withstood anything, especially the ridiculous vote...were stopped dead in their tracks by boycotts...any war could be stopped the same way. The system wants you to go on believeing the Vote is your power...that your vote means something...it might have, when democracies were the size of Athens...but in modern republics where you´re asked to choose between two millionaires who have nothing in common with you...your vote is the chain that keeps you bound to old ways...ways that profit others at your expense. Boycott...that´s power. --------------------- |
