...this is extrememly disingenuous and taints the otherwise good analysis that follows...Iraq is not NOW at this point....it has been at this point for a long long time. Had anyone besides yammering monkeys been able to get on the "news" shows we would have realized long ago that to bring democracy to Iraq MEANT this day would come...as surely as Bush shits in the woods.

...if we don't stop treating this outcome as a "surprise" and a "sad development" we're going to miss the central point to this entire affair...it is NOT conspiracy theory...not if you look back at the likely outcome disapssionately. Had we not had the Watergate break-in and the subsequent unravelling of a president's POLICY of dirty tricks...people would have forever hidden behind the HOPE that Nixon really didn't do those things...well you can't wait to see the documents on Iraq...especially not when they're going to do this again and again...it's appropriate to suspect...to deduce...to guess especially when the stakes are so high.

...We can't wait each time till the disaster we initiate, that's right, WE initiate, turns out the way we would have known it would had we only seen things clearly from the beginning...and one thing we have got to absolutely recognize is that it is in the best interests of American corporate politicians to maintain instability on the oil fields.

...we MEANT to do this to Iraq. That's not a minor point it is THE point! It's not a delusion...believing anything else is the delusion.
