,,,Nazis did the same...in the beginning they went after the "worst"...the kind of individuals all the "good people" could easily agree needed to be locked up...that it was okay to suspend the Law in order to get "those" people..."bad" people...which just meant people they had no time to try to understand or listen to...so they just lumped them together as undesirables whose treatment, which includes denial of due-process, protection against torture and forced confessions etc, was as sacred as their own...that was the mistake of the Good People....for the obviously "bad" ones were never the real target anyway...it was PRECISELY those "good people" Nazis were gunning for because THEY were the ones who could stop the budding Nazis Regime, in the beginning...and they're the ones who found they'd thrown away their own legal protections when they allowed the Bad People to be stripped of their's. ...watch. --------------------- |
