Over the weekend I learned that 45,000 Assyrian refugees have fled to Syria alone. I was really shocked and disgusted. Just think how the Assyrian churches are so busy demonizing each other and taking each other to court, that they cannot help bring our people back and settle them in Northern Iraq, or at the very least get them over here, the way Armenian churches brought thousands of Armenian refugees from war-torn Lebanon to United States back in the 70's and 80's.

There seems to be nothing holy about Assyrian churches and church leaders any more. They have become completely dysfunctional, structurally and functionally.
