Someone emailed me and asked me if I was for zowaa or bet nahrain on myspace. He may be on this site as well and maybe that's how he found me, however I went on his site and noticed he worships this alaha ashur character from his hero section. I replied and said, I'm with Jesus Christ. I feel like I'm back in high school being approached by gang members. "what you be about?" Anyway, he replies back to me saying "im with alaha ashur..........i guess you betrayed omta ashureta! dont mix religion with politics!"

What a joke! Can someone who worships alaha ashur describe to me why? What's up with that?

Yeah thats Dadisho's clan. They worship Alah Ashur apparently. I swear those people are weird. They remind me of the Church of Scientology. Same crazy's over there. I wouldn't be surprised if Dadisho changed his name to Ashur and started telling people he was Alah Ashur.

Clara,

From what i understand (don't quote me on it) cause im not 100% sure; they (who believe in alaha Ashur) say that ancient Assyrians called the God of heaven and earth, the Almighty whom you and i worship, Ashur. God has already given us some of His names like Yahweh and Elohim, Ashur was definitely not one of them.

When Moses posed Him the same question at the burning bush He told Moses that my name is I Am. It just goes to show how dangerous blind "oomtanayoota" can be. I mean there's nothing wrong with being patriotic but one has to keep everything in perspective.

Agree with you brother Ankido... For as much as it brings joy and happiness to be proud of your deel heritage, Sadly being omtanaya is what destroyed our churches and put our christian faith at the hands of Wicked people who brainwashed our people into beleieving Ashor is the Real GOD....

Christ has said it perfectly to us when he said " You can never serve two masters at once, cuase one master u will end up loving whilst the other u will hate "

its the same concept with Assyrians... You just cant put your omta above GOD or christianty cuase ultimately u will fail....Some Bishops, priests and church officials of our Generation has done just that, and its only now that its us, the younger Generation that are paying the price for it, divided and sunk into a political warfare which has nothing to do with the real christian faith ....

In Islam, we always tell people " Seperate religion from Politics, make iraq, iran and co a Secreterian Governments where Religion is practiced where it belongs, in Moasques and leave the politicans make a LAw and Referendum for the people that is fair and Equal...

The same thing applies to Assyrians.. until the day u can Seperate Christianty from politics, we will never be true beleievers and we will always fail to follow our Faith....

We should use our Omtanaya and passion for our history and hertiage to Glorify GOD, not to Glorify ourseleves, our leaders and our History kings and rulers

That's funny Cookie.

Senalko,

I suppose at the end of the day we should remember people like that are not "real" Christians. Which means while there is a need to correct them and try to lead them into the right path, we shouldn't be too hard on them. We never know, they may come to see the real light of the gospel once we share with them God's love and plan of salvation in a loving manner.

God bless

Thanks guys. It's a little scary to think there are people back to the old ways of believing in pagan gods, especially Assyrians, the ones who repented and believed in the God of Isreal at the time of Jonah, the ones who were amongst the largest group to evangelize the Christian message after Christ. You'd think we moderinized a lot more with technology and so much information out there today. But, praise be to God, His Word never returns void and I pray that these people see the light, ESPECIALLY DADEESHO.

UPDATE ON THIS POOR SOUL!!!!!

He wrote back and this what was said:

jesus is the jewish god that u were brainwashed to worship so omta atoureta cannot come back

I wrote back...

No, Jesus is the only God and it sounds like you've been brainwashed dear. God help you. The thing is that Jesus and God have been consistent in their Word. Not anything or anyone has been able to stop that. You know why? That's because there is only one God. You don't need to be a genius to accept Christ. That's the beauty of Him. He's there when you need Him. It's a relationship. Something you will never know with your god you worship. Who is ashur? No one knows of that god. I feel sorry for you because you are headed in the wrong direction. I pray that God enlightens you with His truth. Wake up before it's too late. Only Jesus can be the right answer. Nothing else.

And he said...

well you are just another brainwashed herd cattle there is nothing wrong with jesus or ashur..........u are brainwashed by the rulers of this system........true spirituality is the telepathic realm, not reading a book that was wrote by evil men and bad angels.................i dont need guidance u need guidance and ill tell you what u need to be saved

1. you need sargon dadesho to save ur brain from being fried by zowaa and mar bawai

2. you need to go to this site and start reading this guys articles because it think he is much more smarter than you..........because all you are is a brainwashed herd cattle that the jews brainwashed u into hating omta ashureta..........this is the site that you should go to to enlighten ur brainwashed ass www.kealey.net

Then I replied with Mark 13, especially Mark 13:21-23... http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=mark%2013&version=31
