I lived in Skokie Illinoise at the time the Nazis marched in our town. Not anymore, but at that time, Skokie was 80% Jewish and most of them were Eastern European Jews, (three generations of holocaust survivors). None of them could stop the Nazis from marching, and march they did with enthusiasm. No law could stop the nazis, but the one thing that did break up their fun-filled gathering, was the way in which our town came together and confronted their sickness and drove them out failry quickly. The cohesiveness of a community makes the difference as to how the struggle turns out! --------------------- |
