If ZOWAA are the only people on the ground in Iraq to go out to the remote areas to deliver generators and medicine and stuff, then they're the ones Narsai USES...if your other "groups" feel left out...maybe it's because THEY want to get their hands on the money. Narsai does NOT get his salary from Assyria...Dadeeshoo does... If the other groups feel so strongly about it let THEM raise their own money...do you want Narsai to send the donations to the Baghdad AIRPORT? You are pretending to care about art and the artist...but what you really care to do is use this event to further your own agenda..which is fine...go right ahead. But not even THAT is the point here...the Bored disrespected both Narsai and I...they denied benfits to the people of Iraq...they acted in order to assuage their own feelings because their involvement is for THEMSELVES...if Narsai had walked out OR "defended" me...or if I had yanked my donation, we would have been guilty of the same thing...he is to be commended for not acting on HIS "hurt feelings"...he remined focused on the larger issue, he kept his eyes on the prize...these are subtleties apparently lost on you...the noxious air of Ceres isn't doing you any good. --------------------- |
