..."Are the boys anything BUT cowards"?

...to answer my own question:

cow·ard    ( P )  Pronunciation Key  (kourd)
n.

One who shows ignoble fear in the face of danger or pain.

...if you look, you'll find the boys well represented in a dictionary...naturally Hanna has different definitions...but then the Kurds REALLY have "Nineveh" and America gave it to them...so you can see what an Assyrian dictionary of the English language gets you.
