Maggie: "Don, neither the Assyrians nor the Hebrews were monotheists. The Assyrians had a council of gods called the Ashurah/Ashera, (the 10 gods of the Tree of Life). They were the 10 (as in the 10 gods, the 10 attributes of Ashur, the council of 10, the common denominator of all cosmology). The Jehwists, or Jehovists, also worshipped the 10 gods, the "Elohim", which means "council of gods" and this is proven in the Qabalah, the Zohar, and the Torah, and indeed they took the common denominator of cosmology from our 10 and called themselves ISRAEL, (meaning Isra El) which means the 10 Gods. I have found NO ancient culture to be monotheistic. Not even Buddha, (genetic consciousness) referred to a singular God." -Hi Maggie. Hope all is well with you. I don't know if you saw my other post to you, but I want to say I support you if those traitors are trying to shut you down. Please keep doing what you're doing. In reply to your post, I want to say if Ashurians were not monotheists, then what were they? Please see the Ashur Banipal prayer from my previous message. There are many such references to an "Almighty God" or "Creator." Please understand I am not denying the 10 attributes. However, studying the linguistics and idioms of ancient Assyrian (falsely termed Akkadian) reveals that they were adjectives and specifically, attributes of Ashur (as you know). Never were they termed individual gods in the sense of an individual almighty god. As far as the point concerning the Israelites - I will say that that was a big conspiracy. Them calling themselves Israel b/c it was "10 gods" was a perfect way to steal our beliefs and take credit for our discoveries and ways of life. I like Farid's term "keystone cops." Israel is not really 10 gods or "Isra El." Let me break it down. If you look in the Ancient Assyrian or Semitic dictionary, you will see the root is " s:ry " + " ’eil " which translates as "God has striven" or "God has saved." It is not the same root as our word for "Ten." And it doesn't have the same spelling. It is actually "YISRAEL," not Israel. It is spelled yudh-simkath-resh-yudh-lamadh. When it was written, there were no vovel marks (zow'e) and distinguishing between what we today call yudh and the vowel khwasa was difficult when reading (speech was different). Over time, our dialect turned that into a khwasa. That's why you see Jesus as Esho'a in our current dialect when it is originally Yeshua. Same with "Israel." Many Jews today will actually spell it Yisrael because they know this. When we continue to say "Israel" and translate it as "10 gods," we are propagating the conspiracy in which they have stolen our Tree of Life and the 10-Point Council, our culture, our god, our knowledge, our everything. Think about it, they only bolster their position as supposed "originators of everything" by calling themselves Israel. It would be in our best interest to expose this truth. Concerning your point about Buddhists: I actually had several Buddhist acquaintances when I lived in Connecticut. From the research I've done and what they told me themselves, they don't believe in any god. They are a-theistic. In fact, they asserted that by involving ourselves in such petty subjects we are disturbing ourselves from reaching that inner peace. I look forward to hearing from you. I will try to keep in touch more but with school things are quite busy this month. And don't give up. Regards, Donald --------------------- |
