It was 1972 and I'd been doing volunteer work as an investigator for the lawyers at the juvenile division of the Public Defenders Organization...by way of seeing if I really wanted to go to Law School. I didn't.

I was licensed to run my own day care facility for six delinquent boys ages 13 to 18. It wasn't run like anything else ever was. The manuscript is in its third re-write...but if Emil isn't going to publish...why should I?
