It doesn't matter that your sculpture did not replicate exactly what statutes and manuscripts describe. You weren't alive then and you aren't an archaeologist and so there's a whole lot of room to interpret things your way. Only if you were trying to pawn your art as replicas should you be bothered. I don't know if that was what you were trying to do, but I never thought that was what you were trying to do. But I can't blame Donny George for seeing the differences, I mean that's his life's work--finding artifacts and classifying them by looking at minute details.
