Hi Abbey,

Help Amnesty Canada's Emergency Mission!

The human rights tragedy in Sudan has left two million people displaced and at least 200,000 people dead.
Now the violence is spreading to Chad just as peacekeepers are preparing to leave the region!

Please make a donation to Amnesty International's emergency mission of hope>>

In October, Alex Neve, the Secretary General for Amnesty International Canada, will be going on an emergency Amnesty mission to Chad. While there he will be interviewing Sudanese refugees and meeting with officials to document the atrocities being committed and work towards an end to this crisis.

Please join Amnesty International in bringing hope to the survivors of this and other human rights atrocities.

War remains a daily reality for the people of Darfur, and we cannot risk allowing the violence to spread to Chad. Over two hundred thousand people are dead. Some were killed during armed attacks and many others died from disease and malnutrition. Over two million people have either fled their homes or been displaced by the conflict. Thousands of women and girls have been systematically raped. Villages throughout the region have been burned to the ground.

So what is hope to a Sudanese victim of this violence?

Hope is knowing that the world has not forgotten them. Hope is knowing that Amnesty is fighting with them to restore their human rights, to protect their lives.

Make a donation and be a part of this emergency mission and other critically important work. Your gift of $75 will mean hope in an uncertain future because their stories will be told, and action will be taken.

We have an emergency in Darfur right now and we need your help. Please click here to watch a short video describing the situation and to make a donation>>
