You could have taken any one of the hundreds of thousands of equally innocent and pleasant people yahwe had murdered and made a book out of how "god" hounded them to their grave...as he ordered Joshua to go back and kill every Midianite, "even he that pisseth against a wall"...how`s THAT for loving-kindness...they are indeed the SAME people and the SAME book....Christians, or rather neo-Jews, are rightly embarrassed by the record of blood and guts in that virulent and hate-filled book and seek to distance Jesus from that sort of father, or convert him by some sleight of hand into a newer and more loving yahwe...but he was speaking to YAHWE, not himself..it was the same murderous yahwe he was pleading with for his life...no doubt church "historians" have explained that well enough, to every child`s satisfaction.

Anyway...since the Christians are just Jews with long pants on..it is inconceivable and a gross insult to say that Assyrians EVER would have become Jews (Christians)...change the name all you want to...get all the Wigwams and Mugwhumps you want to write whatever they want...the simple truth is that our ideas about Life are contained in our OWN books...the Epic of Gilgamesh, especially...where Gilgamesh starts out as JUST the sort of violent fool to please a yahwe...wanting to answer those BIG questions and live forever, while killing his own people and rapiong men`s wives...(sort of like Lot who murdered his wife, "Honest officer, she turned into salt"...and then fucked his own daughters after getting them drunk...and claiming they got HIM drunk...just what every daughter wants to do, Fuck Dad while he`s drunk!... while looking for those BIG answers)..like Concerned wants to do....only Gilgamesh found out BETTER...and when he grew up and matured and came to realize that life is here and now..that whatever MIGHT exist after is no human`s business and that only Charlatans will tell you they know...he took Sidhuri`s advice...clasped his wife to his side and took his child`s hand in his own..made sure to bathe frequently, something the Hebrews never heard of, and be content with being a good husband and father and king...or bricklayer etc....the Assyrians had no interest in such airy fairy tales...in crouching on a sheepshit encrusted hillside in Jersulaem, ignoring all personal hygeine, unable to protect themselves but forever carted off to work somwewhere, sacrifing their own first-born to appease such a sick god so he`d send some rain their way...(while in Assyria people were busy BUILDING one of the greatest systems of irrigation ever..one that afforded them the means to create and refine half of all Civilization)... unable to manage their crops or animals or wives and children, but measuring the UNIVERSE!

Concerned sounds about as rational and mature, trying to convince us that in matters of deep and profound ethics and morals, them Hebrews and Church Father`s had it right..as he would if he were trying to tell us that the kinds of surgical instruments used at that same time were the BEST for all time everlasting AMEN!
