For anyone who might be feeling nostalgic or curious about Iran check out tehran24.com, a site I happened upon recently.
There are tons of candid images of life in Iran, the streets, the cars, the people, the signs, even an art gallery!
It's a refreshing perspective of everyday life in a country that remains precious to me, but whose leading elite continue to oppress the majority youth, and jeopardize their well-being and educational/economical/spiritual/personal/etc. progress.
I was verily moved to see Iran in this light, and the sight of familiar streets/monuments/architecture/darkies truly took me back to a wonderful childhood from which I have felt severed for more than twenty years!
I even got to glimpse Shiraz, the city where I was born thirty-two years ago!
Check it out...
