Dear All,

I have waited and waited and waited and waited. No more!

In meetings both privately and in public with the Iraqi Prime Minister
and Iraqi Foreign Minister demanding that an Assyrian Administrative
Region be allowed they both responded, separately:

`The Assyrians are the original people of Iraq. They have every right,
both morally and legally under the Constitution to have an Assyrian
Province (Note I had asked for a `region`)

They then went on to include the devastating comment ` . . . BUT NO
ASSYRIAN HAS ASKED FOR A PROVINCE YET . .`

Ie, `DO IT AND WE WILL SUPPORT YOU!

Can we all take a deep breath, put away all the deep historical
discussions, current problematic discourse and concentrate on JOB ONE!

The Iraqi Government has offered us a province. We need to make a
formal application and or help anyone who will do this.

This is `JOB ONE`!

Please, can we all put away all partisan politics, historic and current
differences and put our heads together and figure out a way to apply
for an Assyrian Province.

Before you have time to say what I always hear `Oh, they dont mean it`,
or `They always say that . . .`

Lets take them up on the offer. Make our formal application and then go
from there.

If there is a problem, they say `no` etc. etc, than that is our battle!

Maybe, though God in His own way has arranged it so they have said
`yes` and we simply need to do it!

Please!

Let me hear from you with your thoughts, suggestions on how we can go
through this open door!
