This is an option, for various reasons, but requires concerted effort by diaspora to make it a success.

If the Hmong can be migrated from Laos to French Guiana for protection, I think there is a case to be made for the Christian community of Iraq. If 100,000 Assyro-Chaldo-Syriacs haul out to Saint-Laurent, we would 1) create a homogenous community in one location 2) instantly become 1/3 the population of the country and 3) poise ourselves very strategically once the French step out and Guiana becomes independent.

BUT, this all requires some major investments, coordination and 100% effort from Assyrians within and outside Iraq.
