...America's difficulties with the MidEast started when Palestinians were made to pay for Christian crimes. Had the Christians NOT taught hatred of Jews for 1500 years there would have been no Holocaust...without the Holocaust there would not have been any need for a Final Solution that included setting up a ghetto for Jews in Palestine and calling it a country.

Jews in Palestine and the rest of the Middle East have lived in peace with their Muslim neighbors for centuries and millenia, until Christian Europeans decided to solve their " Jewish problem" by exporting it. They've had confrontations and unrest of course...but Americans killed Americans in their Civil War and European Christians have been brutalizing each other over religious triffles for ages...so spare us the nonsense about how Muslims "persecuted" their Jewish neighbors unless you accept that the Union persecuted the South in 1860...Muslims and Jews sure as shit didn't engage in the wholesale masacres Christians did against each other...and then everybody else.

In Ireland as recently as a few years ago Christians were blowing up other CHRISTIANS...even targeting school children...sure it's a throw-back to another age, but it shows you how universal frustration can be...and how people without armies and weapons will resort to any means whatever...like they also did in Spain where Basque separatists have been blowing people up for decades...so stop telling us that Muslims are "just like that"...or are any different than anyone else.

Palestinians have every right to be pissed...as do all other people in the MidEast. Christians made life a problem for Middle Easterners for centuries...all you can say about the Muslim world is it took them way too long to fight back.

The imposition of the state of Israel on people who never did a damn thing to European Jews is at the heart of all the unrest there...and because of that we're supposed to be glad that America is throwing its civil liberties to the wind in order to be SAFE...you can't be 'safe" from the consequences of your own thoughtless stupidity and arrogance. We are going even FURTHER and deeper into the quagmire we created...WE, not Muslims!!!

If we want peace in the MidEast, Israel will have to step a lot more lightly than it has been...but that's up to the United States.
