DeLay Censured Again
The House Ethics Committee has reprimanded Majority Leader Tom DeLay (R-TX) for the second time in a week. DeLay called the complaint, which was lodged by a fellow Texan, a personal attack. However, the Ethics Committee is bi-partisan (four Rs, four Ds) and is chaired by a Republican. See AP (7 Oct); Houston Chronicle (7 Oct)

...now what? Not once, but TWICE in one week! Naturally DeLay would say it was a "technicality" (probably just a WRONG signature)...or a "personal attack"...but, what's THIS??? The committee that voted to censure him is BI-PARTISAN???? FOUR Ds and FOUR Rs??? And..it is chaired by a "gasp" REPUBLICAN???
