...They said appeasment of Saddam was wrong....I say attacking innocent countries is America's favorite passtime...Hitler was emboldened by Europe's indifference to his first few crimes...now the United States is hoping to share the burden of killing people by appealing to European nations to join in...to gang up...like they did in 1915 against the Turks...who also hadn't done a thing to them. The Europeans saw that the United States got away with it...their people went along with this crime...so maybe it's a good thing after all.

...People have always fought wars for economic gain, for petroleum especially...at the beginning of the 20th century industrialized Europe needed oil to replace sooty and inefficient coal. That prompted them to gang up on Turkey for the same oil fields they're fighting over now...the need for oil also led Japan to attack south towards oil-rich Malayasia in the 1940s...also because the United States has placed an oil embargo against Japan's rapidly expanding industries so it was either knuckle under or strike out like everyone else was doing...and Hitler was thirsty for oil too...he wanted the oil-rich Ukraine and it was a lack of gas that stopped his war machine...which brings us down to this war...over petroleum all over again.

We're killing ourselves in order to enjoy "The Good Life". But it's okay...because the most belligerant among us are Christians...and they believe in a resurrection...and you can't get there unless you die first...so it all makes sense. They also believe the earth is a damned place anyway filled with whoredoms and fornications...pisses and farts...so it all works out beautifully.

In heaven everything runs on angel dust...don't need no oil.
