Chuch of the East ordeal

As many of the visitors of this forum know, the Assyrian Church of the East is currently involved in a court case.
In order to avoid possible involvement in litigation, The Assyrian forum will remove posts relating to this case for the duration of the case. For readers who wish to express their opinions, we recommend you use other means available on the interent. They include:

...there is no way aina can be involved in the lawsuit if people post comments about the case...that`s a transparent cop out. No more can people passing by the street where a trial is in progress be added to the lawsuit inside the court if they comment on it!

...those who are INVOLVED in the lawsuit must be careful about what they say elsewwhere..although in this case of the church the judge has issued no gag orders.

..aina`s real interest is this thing they have about not airing their dirty laundry in public...so perhaps people won`t know where that awful stench is coming from...it`s the same as the church wishing to keep sex abuse from the public...because it doesn`t "look good"...never mind what it actually IS..or how much harm it does as it`s allowed to continue unchecked, because no one wants "the public to know".

On the contrary...the only reason the abuse cases came to light and church policy changed was because a great big light was SHONE on all the dirt they wished to keep private..and in the resulting glare before the public...the criminals rushed to make changes.

The "Assyrian" community is what it always was...before they even thought to call themselves Assyrians...they are SECTS..of a heretical SECT of Judaism. And this church in particular has been doing this same thing for centuries...they`ve been fighting over the spoils of an increasingly diminishing number of people they can milk.

That`s all their "schisms" are about.
