...there are at least two camps at aina now...one is determined to yap about the sacredness of Ashur and all the world owes them plus railing against any atempt to coexist with the Kurds in Kurdistan...no matter how generous they might be...Christians are supposed to turn their noses up at any funds that come through Kurds...they're supposed to elect to remain poor, but "pure"...meanwhile the Assrian Nationalists are gonna raise $1.25 at various picnics and bake sales to send to them...so they can stay alive, barely, but be PURE. The other group of campers wants to get along with the Kurds...like they have a choice, and make the best of the situation..the other group, Aprim and them, want to make the situation worse, if they can't get their way. This other group is just about willing to do anything in order to remain and live in peace in Iraq...the other group wants to see Iraq destroyed, if it can't be "saved"...and saved, in this case, means "Destroyed For Jesus". I just hope they both clean up after themselves. --------------------- |
