...Aprim a writer and Peter a dancer and Firas a nationalist, it can come as no surprise that the same people are driven to trash the ethnic identity they claim to cherish and love. You`d think by now the grairs would have learned not to stick their fingers in my propellar but no. It never fails: whenever I need a good example of just what`s fraudulent in this Assyrian bullshit...one or other grair shows up eager and willing to be the poster boy for all that`s wrong with it.

We`re so used to the most "Assyrian" being also the most embarrassing, the least accomplished that it won`t do to merely point it out again using one of us as the example. It works better if you pick any other ethnic group...let`s take Germans. Can you imagine any German having nothing but insults to hurl at any artwrok made by a German which a nation such as America pays honor to?

The grairs haven`t the wit or learning between all 500 of them to answer directly ONE point raised against them...not one, not once. They have been forced to resort to nothing less than sticking their tongues out at me and wagging their tails from a safe distance. And to cover themselves and `play to the rest of peanuts in their gallery, as only they could imagine they could, they`ve tried to "hurt" my feelings by calling my sculptures every name their limited vocabulary allows.

...Imagine a "nationalist" or "proud" member of ANY other ethnic group doing such a thing....can you? Others may not agree with an artist`s politics...but they would still not seek to disctredit his or her ideas by attacking his paintings! But this is the best this family can do. And the cute thing is that it`s NORMAL for us! You may not like my politics...you may not like anything about me...you may even sincerely dislike my sculpture...but how can you maintain you are a "proud" Assyrian while hurling insults at a piece of art that an American city, such as San Francisco, has honored and placed before the world in such prominant display...on behalf of us all? How can you make a mess of your OWN ethnic Heritage while presenting yourself as a member of it? Do you need a better definition of self-loathing?

...the grairs and all the rest of the Christians who clamor the loudest that they are ASSYRIAN, by virtue of their religion, are the same. They are using the good name of Ashur to further a squalid and spent religion..one that has only managed to reduce and degrade their numbers anywhere in the world they could not sell themselves as fawning pets. These grairs care nothing for being Assyrian or for any heritage outside a Christian one...they will sell themselves to ANY Christian country that will let them in...they have no feeling but contempt and hatred for BetNahrain...and the people of it, who are the REAL Assyrian descendants anywhere.

...Saddam was right...terrible, but right.
