From the onset this true treasury of poems immediately captivates the reader by intimately exposing the excruciating torment and brutal suffering of the victims of these Genocides, while leaving the reader in a state of genuine disheartenment at how history has deliberately chosen to overlook these Genocides. It is certainly praiseworthy and most heartening to know that this compilation includes poems which commemorate the Genocides perpetrated against the 5 million Armenian, Assyrian and Hellenic indigenous Christian inhabitants of Turkey – an unremembered crime perpetrated against humanity by the last Ottoman sultanate, the Young Turks and finally Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. An excellent purchase and only for a mere £7.00 – The price undoubtedly doesn’t do this compilation any justice. Strongly recommended!!! ...here we go again. Aprim and the rest of the boys are on a campaign to incite hatred of Islam... Let`s just review ONE lie...that the Ottoman Empire was fatal to Christians... When the Christians conquered Jerusalem on their first attack against Islam...they killed every Jewish and Muslim man, woman and child...every last one of them. Contrast that to Muslim behavior when Khalid Ibn Walid, the Sword of Islam, re-took the city....he invited the Patriarch, who fled for his life because he knew what a Christian conqueror would do, to come back and toured the city with him as his guest of honor...Khalid promised free access to all Christians and Jews and so it remained till the day the Christians, unable to murder all the Jews of Europe, sent the refugees to Palestine. When the Christian King, Ferdinand, finally managed to evict the Moors from southern Spain...his Christian army went on a manhunt to kill every Muslim man, woman and child they could find...this Christian king then ordered all Jews, who`d lived in peace and prosperity under the Muslims, to leave Spain and leave their treasure behind. From that day Spain declined and Holland, which welcomed the innovative and industrious Jews, prospered...so much so that the Dutch provided the only serious threat to English mercantilism and control of the oceans and colonies. The Ottoman Turks also provided a safe-haven for Christians fleeing their Christian bishops from what is now Serbia and Montenegro...they would slip over during the night with their families and herds and ask for protection from the Sultan, who treated all Christians as ONE...something No Christian has EVER done...the Sultan didn`t care for the Christian fine points of ideology that has seen Christian tear Christin apart limb by limb for 2000 years. In Christian Europe, every Muslim and Jew was either killed outright, thrown out and robbed..or herded into the uninhabitable parts of towns and cities, there to be tortured and set upon periodically...contrast this to the Ottomans, who were the ONLY people to ever try to accomodate all three religions...who allowed the Jews and Christians more self-rule and autonomy than they had anywhere till then..and more than the "Assyrians" will EVER get from Bush or his Shiia puppets. This Millet system and the tolerance of the Muslims towards Jews and Christians was ruined, once again, by yet another Crusade, another completely unprovoked attack by the Christian West against Islam...that came in the First World War...when almost all the advanced, industrialized nations of Europe ganged up on the Turks and made no secret of their desire to carve up the oilfields they are STILL killing innocent people for. So...when mentioning forgotten massacres, it`s good to remind people that ALL nations have had these episodes..but that the Muslim lands were the ONLY place in history where tolerance was shown to all three faiths...this is one of those facts of life Aprim and the boys can`t argue with...so they try to incite race and religious hatred by lying and distorting the record...just as they did against the Jews only 60 years ago..it`s the same attempt...Hitler too lied about the truth of what the Jews actually were and had done for all of Humanity...GS is just a youthful version. And while we`re mentioning forgotten episodes...let`s mention the Third Crusade during which the Christians ignored the Holy Land and instead "liberated" Constantinople...killing and killing and killing until the Bosphorus ran red with Christian blood...shed by Christians. THESE are the people who want you to hate Muslims...THESE are the people who hated the Jews so much they killed six million of them and now hire out the remnant...THESE are the people trying to get you to hate Muslims..because Muslims are "violent and warlike". Name ONE Muslim small arms manufacturer..name ONE Muslims battleship builder...name ONE Muslim fighter plane manufacturer...name ONE Muslim tank manufacturer...go on...SHOW us what it takes to make a "violent" people! If you`re stumped just look over to Christian lands...you`ll find plenty of such instruments of death supporting the economy. Muslims today are just awakening to the fact that Christians have declared another Crusade against them...another Holocaust to be visited on them in slow stages..as the last one against Jews mounted slowly until it reached the tipping point when its own momentum carried it forward to its LOGICAL conclusion. If Muslims are indeed what Christians claim..then by all means there can be NO peace in the world till every Muslim is hanged or jailed or cowed with fear and put out to work alongside the remnant of the Jews murdered by Christianity. Christians managed to convince themselves that there could be NO progress...no wealth...no race purity unless all Jews were dealt with...FINALLY...they believed it...the Church taught it...their leaders demanded it...and several demented types carried out the work with as much fervor and dedication as Aprim, Jassim, GS and Jatou have...and now they`re at work at the old stand again...trying to convince us that Muslims are the threat...that there can be no peace anywhere till they are dealt with...FINALLY.
