calling another person ignorant because you do not agree with him shows intolerance of others who may offer helpful ideas which you may not agree with. This is typical with the religiously driven people.

Joseph thinks clergies should not get involved in national and political affairs. This is called the separation of Church and State. Even christ agreed with this when he said: 'Give to Caesar his share and God his.'

The function of the clergies is to promote Christianity. Since we have various denomination who compete with each other, when the clergies of one denomination get involved in our national affairs the other comes forward to do the same on behalf of his own people, in retaliation.

By dealing with clergies rather than a united national front, Kurds can divide our people against each other and do with them whatever they want, no one can say no. They can bribe the one who asks for the minimum to silence the other. They can call us whatever they want to, because we are no longer a united Nation and our clergies intentions are to make sure of that.

Congratulations! We have returned to the days when we were known by our church affiliations. Nestorians, CHaldeans and Syriacs. So say goodbye to our Assyrian heritage. This is what happens to a people worship their clergies.

...this goes part of the way...the whole truth is that the term "Assyrian", in the modern sense, is ALL about Christianity...with all it's ditzy sects...each chasing the tail of a Jew carpenter. There is NO "secular" sense in which the term exists...none at all. Each sect THINKS it is the "true" nation...as each sect thinks it is the TRUE rep for Christ...they are intolerant as sects AND as a "nation". It is ALL religion ALL the time.

..the only truly secular enterprise I can think of was the ASSYRIAN public monuments...which glorified ASSYRIAN HERITAGE...and it didn't take long for the boys to gang up against those....they don't really feel pridde in anything Assyrian...not unless it's been castrated into Christian first.

...it makes sense too that the person who would commit to this much effort AS an Assyrian, would be the same one to come to see this modern sham for what it is...a religious GRAB! None of the boys who "bleed for Assyria" would do anything like this....because they DON'T feel Assyrian...just Christian...and there are enough of those friggn monuments at every wide spot on the road.
