...for at least two decades there's been a push in America to make people responsible for everything that happens to them...kids can be beaten, neglected, badly educated etc but it's their fault...there are no "excuses" allowed...none of this "blaming" your childhood or anything else...if you're a woman being beaten and raped and terrorized by your husband...it's no excuse or reason to lash back one night and kill him...no excuses...no blaming your childhood...no blaming Slavery or centuries of abuse...or a disadvantaged childhood...but if you're Lyndie England you CAN claim some disturbance to you as a fetus that led you to abuse Iraqi prisoners...the only ones who CAN use those kinds of excuses are Rush Limbaugh...

This is because the robber barons will accept no responsibillity for what they do to people's lives in their pursuit of profits and power...everyone wants to pay less taxes..to have an extra five hundred at the end of the year...so there's no money for schools or after school programs or road repair...and the society slides and slides...yet it is the INDIVIDUAL'S fault...never the fault of those who SEEK to rule over people's lives.

This washes over into our attitude towards Muslims now...nothing the United States has done in the last 40 years, through Israel, to torture and disenfranchise the Palestinians gives them ANY excuse to retaliate...yet America can go apeshit when IT is attacked...America can aim its guns at ANY Muslim or Muslim nation it wants to...America is completely irresponsible and not to be held accountable...yet its victims have to bear ALL the resoonsibillity for daring to fight back.
