...it almost slipped past me...in one of our exchanges Don pointed out grimly and with some purpose that it was those nasty Kurds who killed our Marshimmun...without recalling that much later, it was OUR Christian who killed HIS Christian Marshimmun.

While it might be "justifiable" to murder across religious lines, hell EVERYBODY did it...isn`t it even more odd that a Christian would kill WITHIN his own religion...a religion of Peace?

Besides which...Marshimmun asked for it. The Kurds tried to make one with the Christians to take advantage of the war so they might carve out their own provinces...there was some movement towards such a deal...but the British lured Marshimmun away with flattery and those age old empty promises of a Christlandia...they even gave his sister some meaningless geegaws...Agha Petrous did NOT want to fight the Turks...he knew it was madness...but Marshimmun was determined to throw in his lot with the foreign Christians...and Simko did no different than the Christian assassin who killed the NEXT Marshmuun...this time for betraying "his vows"...marrying and fathering two children...and true to GM grair fashion...the assassin shot Marshimmun while he was bathing his baby.

Why is it that Don would remember only the Muslim who killed the Christian...which, according to our own lore, happened all the time..while "forgetting" the Christian who killed the Marshummun..when you have to admit the latter is the more odd occurance.

Are we trained to ONLY sniff out Muslim "crimes"?
