As an answer to: Re: English Translation written by Fred Aprim on 18 Aug 2006 08:35:15:

Thank you very much Fred, you are always there to serve your nation. This will be posted on the www.christiansofiraq.com as part of a longer article about Kurd's opression of the Assyrians.

Ben

..."serve your nation". Both Ben and Aprim got out while the getting was good...while in Iraq they didn't dare preach sedition for fear of the police....but once safe in the West they have begun to "serve". And like all our other leeders who do they serve but themselves...with the added benefit of seeming to be caring about others?

If you just escaped from a band of violent kidnappers, leaving your brother and sister still bound and gagged...would that be the best time to "serve them" by denouncing the kidnappers, who hold the power of life and death over your "dear" family members...calling them theives and criminals etc?

Does the family of a man taken hostage create a website dedicated to calling the hostage-takers names and villifying them....do they?

Every instance of an alleged injustice suffered by some Christian in Iraq (but only at thye hands of a Muslim) or, better yet, a new "martyr" is really cause for jubilation with Aprim and Ben and so many more of our ditzy "activists". Of course they don't come out and SAY so...but these incidents provide the moralistic and self-righteous cover they need to disguise their self-serving "activism"...which is intended solely for their own benefit...so they can go on national news and weep and "tell the wurld" all about what they have suffered.

It's such an obvious gambit. They can do nothing about the actual conditions on the ground, except use them to their own advantage...indeed, all they do is make things worse for those left behind...remember how they called for this war...how they said this would "liberate" Christians,,,,who were forced to flee Iraq because of Saddam? It has been their Christian boy, Bush, who's chased them out...as well as helping to create the Kurdistan they all wail over...that was all done for their own sakes as well...it was their desire for REVENGE agianst Iraq for ever denying their ridiculous claims in the first place that led them to demand a war, not for liberation but for REVENGE!.
